Marc Brawner
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Marc is a highly versatile leader with over 25 years of global technology, cybersecurity, and business experience. Most recently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Managed Services at Kroll, he was a pioneer in delivering remote incident response, investigations, and remediation of threats at scale.
Marc's incident response and forensics work has uncovered supply-chain, insider threat, and nation-state attacks; he has advised agencies including the FTC, FBI and DOJ. Marc has presented to boards of directors, led executive tabletop exercises, and supported sensitive matters involving public firms and key executives. Marc has written expert reports, been deposed in high-profile matters, and testified in federal court to support the conviction of foreign cybercriminals.
As a technologist, Marc has led vulnerability, compliance, and vendor risk management programs, and implemented and operated myriad technology and security platforms and partnerships. He is known for his calm and level-headed presence under pressure, with an unassuming yet tenacious ability to solve difficult problems with accuracy and operational excellence, while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and methods.
Having built and led high-performing teams spanning the US, Europe, and APAC, Marc offers a rare blend of technology acuity and business savvy that enables him to work effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders, while understanding the varying needs of organizations across verticals, sizes, and geographies. At Auxiris, Marc guides the firm's vision and operations, while extending his expertise to key clients.

Pierson Clair IV
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Pierson is a renowned incident response and digital forensics expert with a career spanning private sector consulting, national intelligence, and academia. Pierson served as a Managing Director in Kroll's Cyber Risk practice, where he advised clients on digital resilience, and led more than 500 network intrusion incident response engagements for Fortune 1000 companies, government entities, and others facing complex data and cyber security incidents.
Beyond the field, Pierson is an educator and thought leader: he is an Associate Professor of Practice at USC's School of Advanced Computing, where he develops curricula and teaches cybersecurity, incident response, and digital forensics. He previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Loyola Law School focusing on cybersecurity and data privacy.
He was invited to the inaugural CompTIA Cybersecurity Advisory Board and was recognized among the Top 50 Cybersecurity Consultants globally in 2022 and 2023. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Pierson's blend of hands-on technical expertise and academic insight defines Auxiris' commitment to cutting-edge methodologies and quality.
